INDIANA JONES AND THE FATE OF ATLANTIS SPECIAL EDITION

>> This project is considered an non-profit fans video game project <<

The story of Fate of Atlantis is set in 1939, on the eve of World War II. At the request of a visitor named Mr. Smith, archaeology professor and adventurer Indiana Jones tries to find a small statue in the archives of his workplace Barnett College. After Indiana retrieved the horned figurine, Smith uses a key to open it, revealing a sparkling metal bead inside. Smith then pulls out a gun and escapes with the two artifacts, but he loses his coat in the process. The identity card inside reveals "Smith" to be Klaus Kerner, an agent of the Third Reich. Another pocket of the coat holds an old magazine containing an article about an expedition on which Indiana collaborated with Sophia Hapgood, who has since given up archeology to become a psychic. Fearing that she might be Kerner's next target, Indiana travels to New York in order to warn her and to find out more about the mysterious statue. There, he interrupts her lecture on the culture and downfall of Atlantis, and the two return to Sophia's apartment. They discover that Kerner ransacked her office in search of Atlantean artifacts, but Sophia says that she keeps her most valuable item, her necklace, with her. She owns another of the shiny beads, now identified as the mystical metal orichalcum, and places it in the medallion's mouth, invoking the spirit of the Atlantean god Nur-Ab-Sal. She explains that a Nazi scientist called Dr. Hans Ubermann is searching for the power of Atlantis to use it as an energy source for warfare.

Sophia then gets a telepathic message from Nur-Ab-Sal, instructing them to find the Lost Dialogue of Plato, the Hermocrates, a book that will guide them to the city. After gathering information, Indiana and Sophia eventually find it in a collection of Barnett College. Correcting Plato's "tenfold error", a mistranslation from Egyptian to Greek, the document pinpoints the location of Atlantis in the Mediterranean, 300 miles from Greece, instead of 3000 as mentioned in the dialogue Critias. It also says that in order to gain access to the Lost City and its colonies, three special stones are required. At this point, the player has to choose between the Team, Wits, or Fists Path, which influences the way the stones are acquired. In all three paths, Sophia gets captured by the Nazis, and Indiana makes his way to the underwater entrance of Atlantis near Thera...  to be continue

really nice but for some reason i missed a orichalcum bead and couldnt light the panel beside the secret passage at the end. i searched with a walktrough high and low and i never found one so i had the restart a new game and skipped a panel to have a bead for the last one

It's  not required to light the passages except that one where Dr. Charles Sternhart is to pick up the Worldstone and staff

when i try to use the shiprib with the hidden passage indy tell me first i need some light but i cant use the pedestal just beside because i dont have any orichalcum left

Thats correct, but you shouldnt be able to use last orichalcum for anything else than the light for opening door. :o/

I played till they come out of the labyrinth and get on the U-boat, then suddenly shows the end credits but missing all the part of Atlantis, did you have similar issue?

(+1)

It's not an issue. This game development is progressing piece by piece. Every update brings up a new part of the game.

Thanks and really well done to bring back to life one of the most iconic game ever produced!

Is the game Indiana Jones and the fate of the atlantis spaciel edition will be a full version?

It's not an issue. This game development is progressing piece by piece. Every update brings up a new part of the game.

I love the original game so I downloaded this one. Unluckily savegames didn't work. I just saved in NY. Next day I loaded it, it didn't load anything.

(+2)

I downloaded the game and it looks great! I love the voice of Harrison Ford, locations and the story (i've never played this game).
However, i came across some bugs:
1. For a significant part of game i can't hear the voices of Indy nor Sophia. They are having conversations, but there is no sound, just subtitles. Other characters do not have this problem. It is decreasing the quality of the experience.
2. I have found the Platoo's book and was supposed to talk with some traders in Algiers/Monte Carlo, but suddenly i have been transported to Greece already to the Labyrinth and possess 2 stones out of 3, which in fact i haven't found. It just looks as part of the game was skipped. I didn't do it. It happened itself.
3. When Indy is travelling across the world, the map is not precise. I'm in Tikal and want to move to Fairfield and suddenly it shows that i am driving a car from NY to Fairfield. The same goes with other variations of the locations. It shows that i am travelling from a different place, which is incorrect.

In fact the 2nd point is a bugger for me. I have been robbed from the adventure of finding the stones.

Can it be solved somehow? Maybe someone can share a save file from the moment before this happening?

Thank in advance!

My game did exactly the same thing, which is also very annoying.

There are two options to play 1. from beginning till Azores, 2. in Knossos. This game development is progressing piece by piece. Some lines doesnt have VO, some people doesnt work on those demos anymore. We know about your bugs you mentioned, hopefully fixed w new version.

This looks amazing. I have downloaded windows version but I can’t get it to boot? Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this please ? Also let me know what other gems you are working on. Will happily support.

Unzip the file, and then run .exe

if the game still doesnt run, it can be your old hardware.

Thank you for making this worthy and excellent remake, and congratulations on the work. LucasGames would be proud of the game. It's perfect!!!

Fantastic!

This is a nice gift for Indy's fans :) I hope you don't mind me posting my gameplay here.

I checked your video. So after you found the Platoo's book you were transported to Greece and this is on purpose? You suddenly find two stone in you inventory without even finding them?
So, this game is not fully completed? This is my conclusion after playing myself and watching your playthrough.

I played it months ago, I can't remember the details. But yes, it's not a full game.

thanks!

This is fantastic! Great work.

Extraordinary work! As a 48 yo, I really don't understand the modern games. They're all the same and nothing left to personal imagination whatsoever. In the '90s every screen had an action. Now, I'm looking at my 18 yo son, who's walking or running in a 3D space for miles, and nothing happens. It's a disaster for the creative minds of the youth.

Kudos to you!

I think you guys have done an increadible job. Im a super fan of the original from the first day it came out. I play the original at least once a year on various devices, PC, Steam Deck, etc. Your version is amazing, but I feel like there is something missing, perhaps its the graphics are too clean. The original was a little darker I think. Also some animations seem a little stiff and Indy looks like he is moon walking, like you can tell he is not part of the background. Please dont take this the wrong way, I really do think what you have done is amazing. But those are the things I would be critical about. Byt the way I think the cut scenes in particular are glorious!
